Isabella Blake-Thomas has been in the industry since 2006 and is very experienced in all aspects of filmmaking.  She stars as Princess January in Disney's "Secret Society of Second Born Royals", available on Disney+. Isabella has also appeared in ABC's "Once Upon a Time", Nickelodeon's "Game Shakers" and many other projects. Being company co-founder and CEO, Isabella uses her personal knowledge of the industry to create and lead projects that will inspire, educate and entertain.

Co-Founder / Director of Original Content

Elizabeth Blake-Thomas is an award-winning director and philanthropist, having recently directed her latest feature film during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Along with her talented daughter Isabella, she co-founded Mother & Daughter Entertainment.  A regular on panels at Sundance, Cannes and Toronto International Film Festival, Elizabeth mentors wherever possible, ensuring she sends the elevator back down to all other female directors and filmmakers.


Head of Creative Development

Abbie Georganna is well-versed in the industry as both an actress and MDE's Head of Creative Development.  From acting alongside Full House star Jodie Sweetin in Just Swipe to developing and producing projects at MDE, Abbie loves being involved in all creative aspects of filmmaking. Together with the MDE Team, Abbie coordinates all media projects, whether developed in-house or by a third party, striving to "make content that matters".

Head of Script Development

Riley Michlowitz is an experienced writer who uses her education and industry knowledge to write original content as well as develop scripts with third-party writers for MDE production. Riley works from development through production on each greenlit script to ensure story and vision are fully brought to life. With additional experience in production, Riley brings a unique skill to script selection and development by keeping production needs in mind from the start of development.
